3 Cool Tools that Might Change Your Perspective
This week, we have a little holiday treat for you. Here are three cool search tools we like, which range from awesome (crazy useful) to “awesomesauce” (just for fun – but super cool).
Addict-o-matic is a search tool where you plug in a keyword or the name of your organization, and you get an amazing “homepage” which pulls in anything that mentions your keyword from a variety of different sites. Here’s what we get for SocialFish. W00t!
Another way to search is using Viewzi. This one is even more visual, pulling in screenshots of sites that mention your keyword; and you can search specific sites like video sites, photo sites, etc. Check out what we get for SocialFish on that one – scroll through and see how super cool that is!
Finally, here’s one that is totally awesomesauce. Tag Galaxy searches Flickr for photos tagged with a particular search keyword. You can zoom in, float around the galaxy, find related photos, just float around dreamily looking at pictures of stuff.
These are all ways to think differently about the information that is out there on the vast sea of the internet. Every once in a while it can be really energizing to take a step back from the daily grind, and look at things from a different perspective. Really, that is what the holidays are about, too! Just a chance to take a little breather.
