So my schedule is so crazy hectic right now and I feel bad that I am not posting anything of substance, but I am hoping to keep you satisfied for a little while with my latest lil’ pile o’ links.
Twitter-related
Twitdom – a new browsable database of all the Twitter apps out there. Well, not all, yet, but they are working on it.
Here’s a great post for newbies on how to get started with Twitter.
Twitterfriends – another metrics tool to help you make sense of your network, including tag clouds showing who replies to you the most and all kinds of visualizations of your “conversation quotient” and “link quotient”, measuring how relational or viral you are.
Conferences galore
BlogPotomac – an awesome blogger conference in DC. Be there or be square.
Another good one – Wordcamp – for bloggers using WordPress specifically.
New Year goodies
WTF? Origins of Five Popular Web 2.0 Terms
The Buzz Bin’s Hot Or Not list for 2009. hehehe.
Kari Rippetoe on some cool viral videos of 2008.
The Important Stuff
Beth Kanter on Return on Insight. Awesome post, will think/post about this more later hopefully.
Joshua Porter on how Designing in Public can improve your business. This is an important one, to be revisited, and it’s what we’re trying to do with RUTI – make sure the process for designing and building a social space is transparent, welcoming to feedback, and continuously evolving in public. Speaking of which, we’ll have a superfabulous update at Tech09 so even if you can’t make it there, be sure to join the RUTI group if you want to find out what it’s all about and/or be part of the beta tester crew – any ASAE member is welcome.
Enjoy.
