The ASAE Technology Conference starts next week in DC. I’ll be there along with my partner in crime. Here’s what I can’t wait to see and experience.
- RUTI preview – the ASAE Technology Council is experimenting with a new kind of online community for ASAE. I’ve watched it take shape and the potential is HUGE. Beta testing for it will start really soon. If you want to be involved, join the RUTI group in the ASAE directory.
- Keynoters Jeff Howe and Chris Sacca – Jeff will talk about crowdsourcing, Chris will talk about the culture of innovation at Google. Both will help open us up to the possibilities that technology empowers.
- Unleashing our Inner Geek – I intend to let my geek flag fly throughout the conference, but of course, we’re also giving a session devoted to our inner geek. It’s all about cool social media tools that associations can benefit from using.
- YAPs in Space – We’re hosting a party. You’re invited. Socious is the sponsor. I can not adequately express how awesome the party will be…you’ll just have to come see for yourself…suffice it to say that there will be metallic disco head boppers involved.
- You – I can’t wait to connect with all of you in person, in the exhibit hall, in our session, at the YAP party and through the Twitter backchannel (use the hashtag #tech09). You can follow my #tech09 updates on Twitter here.
