Just ordered these books, based on recommendations via Twitter, via some colleagues and via a very interesting webinar on community management I just attended [super fast and good summary of that here!]
- The Innovator’s Dilemma: The Revolutionary Book that Will Change the Way You Do Business – Clayton M. Christensen
- Six Pixels of Separation: Everyone Is Connected. Connect Your Business to Everyone – Mitch Joel
- The New Community Rules: Marketing on the Social Web – Tamar Weinberg
- A Little Less Conversation: Connecting with Customers in a Noisy World – Tom Asacker
- Ignore Everybody: and 39 Other Keys to Creativity” – Hugh MacLeod
- Online and On Mission: Practical Web Strategy for Breakthrough Results – David Gammel
(Actually I got my copy of David’s book at ASAE). Anyone read any of these? Any comments on them?
Oh and don’t forget you can add your “must reads” to our Recommended Reading List on the Association Social Media Wiki!

LOVE Ignore Everybody! Quick read, great insights–and cartoons.
Hey Maddie,
Great list. I also picked up The Future of Management by Gary Hamel. So far it’s a great read. Looks at the broader implications of change and reinforces a lot of te messages throughout Groundswell.
