We are looking for interns to join Team SocialFish.

We need interns for different projects, some  paid, some not, some short term, some long term.  Right now we are looking to build a pool of interested people.  We will provide training.

Out of this group, we will be looking to hire one super special marketing intern to work directly with us for potential long term part-time paid employment.

Interested applicants must:

- be interested in, or have previous experience working in, the association industry

- must have excellent communication skills; previous experience in marketing, PR, or communications is a plus (but not required).

- be social media savvy – must, at minimum, have personal accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

- have a proven understanding of how to use these tools to communicate professionally or  and be willing to do that themselves on behalf of an organization

- have an interest in blogging, and preferably already have a personal blog we could look at

- must believe in the SocialFish philosophy, namely that 3) social media is about sharing the love; 2) social media is an engine for word of mouth; 3) social media is about building relationships and community.

- DC area preferred, but there may be scope for some remote project work.
