Three e-newsletters worth reading

Just thought I’d share links to three free e-newsletters I receive in my inbox on a regular basis that have stood the test of time for me. I am notoriously fickle, and apparently not too keen on email in general, and I’ll unsubscribe from things faster than they come in (ha), so the fact that I still read these religiously every time definitely means something! Although I would note that while the content here is outstanding, the formatting for some, not so much. Anyway, check ‘em out and enjoy.

Multiview Multibriefs (subscribe here) – really really good weekly brief about e-marketing. I actually click through and read most of it. Really! :)

SmartBrief on Social Media – daily with great social media content, if a bit too B2C. Although since it’s a daily, I like to just skim the big socmed story headlines to get a feel for what’s happening out there in the world – what I do like is that even if I have read all the blogosphere back and forth on all the top stories, SmartBrief are great at picking posts that are really good summaries. And I LOVE the “big retweet” feature (though it’s missing from this link) and their daily poll, as well as the “Smart Quote”.

KD Paine’s Measurement Standards – this newsletter has easily the WORST design I have ever seen in my life – but I don’t care, because the articles, on social media measurement and metrics, are outstanding.

And bonus daily:

Association Bisnow – fun daily with news and photos from association peeps all across the industry. What matters is people, right? This daily has sparked quite a few blog ideas for me in the past and I just love to know what’s going on in our community. One warning about their smart and sweet reporter, Jessica Sidman – she WILL take your picture without warning. LOL! But if you’re doing cool stuff, of any kind, let her know.

Happy reading!
