Maggie – You mean a waiver that waives their rights to admin the Page if they leave?

@Karen I totally agree that Facebook needs to address the page admin thing. You can add however many other admins to the page; the fact remains that if the person who set up the page quits or gets fired, your company could have a problem. I will say that I know of one person who contacted a DC Facebook staffer via email and asked him to please address this with Facebook (the admin/page tie thing) and he personally took care of unhooking her original page creator from the page, so it can be done. Short of that, if page originators leave a place, companies are going to have to start creating some kind of waiver for those employees to sign saying that even though the page is tied to them they won’t do anything with it.

John – agreed, but a Fan Page is still inexorably tied to the Creator’s account. Even if other admins are assigned to a Fan Page, the Creator cannot be removed. That’s the rub.
