Don’t focus on technology, focus on behavior

by Maddie Grant on July 16, 2010

This presentation by Paul Adams, Senior User Experience Researcher at Google, is so chock full of great information that I can’t even begin to summarize and do it justice.  It’s long but the slide deck has the script included and I urge everyone to read through the whole thing.  You won’t regret it.

The overarching lesson: don’t focus on technology, focus on behavior.

This truly is a great presentation and presents a lot to think about. Being part of a social network online is easy and goes without much thought, but when you actually consider everything you do and the groups you are a part of in real life, that’s when you get to thinking about your actions/behaviors.

Although long it is definitely worth a look. Thanks!

Mads — This presentation should be turned into a required social networking college or high school course. It’s probably more important than drivers education.

And whoa… it was a little long, but excellent!

Thanks for sharing such awesome stuff!
