Wondering what a QR (Quick Response) code is? In the association world, we’ve seen these barcode-like images that, when scanned on a mobile device, takes you to a particular webpage, used most frequently in the conference context. I just recently checked one out on a brochure I got in the mail for CES, which took me straight to a promo video for the consumer electronics conference.

I’m also going QR-code crazy! I want to have it on my business cards, and also on my websites. It’s definitely an in thing for 2011 even if it’s sort of old news (or not so new news) in places like Japan.
