Managing Generational Differences in the Workplace

WHOO HOO! I am super excited to share with you our brand new Generations on-demand course.  This is based on a really popular 4-hour in-person training that Jamie has been facilitating for a couple of years, and we’ve been wanting to figure out how to make it accessible to more people. So ta-daa! Here it is.

This course consists of 6 lessons (not including the overview, posted for you below). Each module contains a 20 minute video, an accompanying assessment, an exercise (equally do-able alone by journaling or in a group), handouts, and further reading – about 8 hours of content.  It also includes a copy of Jamie’s Generational Differences in the Workplace e-book.

In this on-demand training program, you will receive the tools and concepts you need to start leveraging the full power of generational differences inside your organization. 

You’ll go through the basics of generational theory so you can cut through the hype and get clear when generational issues are relevant and when they aren’t. 

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of all four generations in the workplace, with extra time spent on the Millennial generation, the largest generation in today’s workforce. 

We will also dig into how to apply this knowledge in real-world management contexts, including working through difficult cross-generational conversations and creating “generation-friendly” internal management and communication processes. 

Finally, we’ll close with some questions to consider about some of the implications the Millennial approach might have for the future of work—and the culture at your organization.
